Well, I am aware that we are well into the summer, it’s actually damn near the end but I decided to add some musical spice to this new fangled inter-web page.
Starting off strong, do we have any fans of America in the house? Well I should hope so or else you should probably just get the hell out of here. The first band I’m giving a shout-out to absolutely screams USA! The Black Keys is a two man blues-rock band from Akron, Ohio that own some of the rawest sounding electric guitar riffs I’ve ever heard.
Let me start by saying this movie isn’t what you expect.
I expected an enjoyable kids film that may have one or two parts that were actually funny and that actually made me laugh audibly. I was super wrong. It has lots of funny parts.
So most of us were skeptical. We heard Toy Story 3 and thought, “WTF man, they’re gonna ruin it! Just go ahead and trample over my childhood memories, Disney.” Well, I decided to go see it anyway, just in case it was good.

Yes I’m aware this is like the 4th movie review in a row. We’ll work on that.
So I’m here to talk to you today about two great animated movies that I saw recently. They’ve been out of theaters for awhile but I missed both of their theater runs and have been meaning to check them [...]

OK, we’ve got an alien planet with big blue people, mind-controlled clones, and lots of political undertones. Oh, and of course it’s all 3-D.
Now I am personally a big fan of nerdy sci-fi alien stuff. So of course I was interested. More normal people my age were a bit confused about the whole premise of [...]

So this review may be a bit biased. I loved reading Sherlock Holmes growing up, so I was super excited when I heard they were making a movie (and that Iron Man was in it). But I’ll try to be objective.

OK, to be honest I went into this movie with pretty low expectations. First of all, it’s a sports movie. There have been a handful of good football movies made, and quite a few really terrible football movies made. Sports movies in general tend to suffer from bad dialogue or terrible plot development, so I [...]

Couples Retreat
It’s a romantic comedy by Vince Vaughn (he also stars in the movie). It’s also got a few other funny dudes and some foxy ladies (Malin Akerman from Watchmen and Kristen Bell from Forgetting Sarah Marshall). Basically, four couples have mild to severe marital issues and decide to go on a vacation together to [...]

So unfortunately for anyone who has stumbled across this site, and possibly visited it more than once, we here at the College Pro have run into a few setbacks. We hate to make excuses, but school is really kicking our asses around here in Starkville and we just haven’t had the time to devote to [...]
